AK – 020 Strain

AK-020 by Amsterdam Genetics is a hybrid of Colombian, Mexican, and Afghani cannabis strains. It has long been a favourite of commercial producers since it reliably generates high yields from a stable weed strain.

Plants grown indoors will normally reach a height of 120-150 cm tall, generating 500-600 gr/m2 throughout an 8- to 9-week flowering period.

This is a strong-smelling strain, so if you don’t want to excite your neighbours’ interest, we recommend air-filtering with carbon filters.

Plants grown in an outdoor setting will grow much taller, especially if planted directly into the ground, with an average height of 200-300 cm and each plant generating 400-500 grammes.

AK-020 has a sour aroma with earthy overtones; the flavour is sweet, spicy, and pungent, with the aroma of overripe fruit. When smoked/vaped, floral overtones can be detected on the exhale. THC levels are exceptionally high, at 20%, with additional cannabinoids ranging from 0.3 percent CBD to 0.08 percent CBN to 0.06 percent THCV to 0.8 percent CBG. Happy, euphoric, uplifting, and eventually wonderfully soothing, with the potential to unleash some creative thoughts.

In terms of therapeutic uses, it is expected to significantly reduce tension and sadness, while its uplifting impact will also make pain feel less bothersome. Nausea and a lack of appetite are also likely to be alleviated.
