Dawggone Sour Strain

Dawggone Sour is a 5-way hybrid strain that was bred through the cross between Stardawg (ChemDawg #4 x Tres Dawg) and Jack the Ripper (Jack’s Cleaner F1 x Romulan x Cinderella 99).

It is 65 per cent sativa, growing into a large plant with high yields, high potency and medicinal applications.

Dawggone Sour is a collaborative effort by Kyle Kushman, Subcool and Badger. It was bred by Top Dawg seeds and donated to SubCool for further breeding. It’s an exceptionally easy plant to grow and one that really packs on weight during the last two weeks of flowering with very large trichomes clearly visible.

It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation and grows into a large, tall and wide plant with a pine tree structure. Top of this plant is highly recommended to encourage lateral growth as a post-veg amount.

Stretch may be very high during flowering. Using SCRoG or other training will help to expose all buds to as much light source as possible for even better bud development.

Indoors flowering takes between 58-63 days and although we do not have access to exact amounts, yields are said to be enormous! The oily, greasy buds have a deeply sour scent and taste with notes of guava fruit, lemons, chemistry, pine and diesel.

The potent effect is suitable for both medicinal and recreational use. In the case of the latter, it is a fine daytime smoke that will give energy, especially to creative types, as well as help with spiritual quests.

Therapeutic use is recommended for fatigue, stress, anxiety, pain relief, insomnia, appetite stimulation in cases of weight loss, relieves digestive problems and also helps with symptoms of multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.
