This strain can present in any of several different pheno, each one bringing something different to the strain.
All of them, however, produce high-quality product and respectable quantities at that. Regardless of the pheno, La Blanca presents a cannabis strain that gives a powerful psychoactive effect derived from buds that are soaked with potent THC-rich resin.
The plants grow to a consistent medium height with only slight variations between phenotypes.
This allows you to grow indoors with confidence – no guesswork over the necessary amount of space. They are small enough to work in specialised setups like SoG or ScrOG, but they also work well in a pH-balanced soil with lots of nutrients.
3.5-7 litre pots are ideal in indoor setups and a steady light cycle after the first 3 weeks.
Outdoor growers need to plant La Blanca well past threat of frost, so think mid-April (May is better). Harvest time is late summer or early fall – late September to early October. For best results, start the seedlings inside, then transplant them outside after about 3 weeks.
The plants will fully mature after about 8 weeks. Give them the full amount of time to ripen. The reward will make your patience worth it.
La Blanca is a great strain for first-time or novice growers. Regardless of the strain, feminised plants are much easier to manage, and they require less maintenance than their “regular” counterparts.

La Blanca has achieved the third position in the BHO Category of the Cannabis Canarias Cup in 2013. Crossing the Great White Shark with the Snow White resulted in this variety. The GWS is well known for its medicinal properties as appetite enhancer and peripheral muscle relaxant. Its Skunk #1 heritage adds sweetness to its penetrating smell from the end of the growing period and the beginning of flowering. To stabilize this herb, Kannabia crossed it once again with the predominantly indica White Widow. This cross gives it a shorter flowering time. It has thick, oily stink, so you should take smell issues into account from the early stages of growing. La Blanca develops fairly high yields for a hybrid with sativa genes. The resin concentration is astonishing, delighting any grower who sees all those huge “sugary” buds. This easy to grow plant has open-armed structure that will give you hefty buds laden with resin.
