Marionberry Kush Strain

Marionberry is an interesting kush hybrid, taking its genetics from two great strains: Raspberry Kush and Space Queen. There are six main phenotypes and a few others that crop up sporadically.

Most phenos take on typical Kush characteristics, developing plants that are short to medium with large, broad leaves that match every popular cannabis stereotype.

The distinct aroma of berries is the first thing to hit the senses when one gets close to one of these plants. That aroma intensifies as the plants mature. It’s the cannabis equivalent of a delicious fruit salad with the added happiness of the musky funk that is typical of any great Kush strain.

Those familiar with Cinderella 99 will no doubt see the similarities between that strain and Marionberry.

The flavour is very smooth, sweet, and fruity. It delivers an effect that is almost immediate but also very consistent and mild. This is a great daytime strain as it leaves the user alert, active, and productive but it is quite potent. THC content is very high.

All phenos possess similar characteristics including the smell of fruit although some are stronger in that area than others. Some users say they can smell and taste things like pomegranate, passion fruit, and even raspberries.

Most phenos will also have variations of pink, purple, and green highlights to the buds all glistening with delicious resin.

Indoors, the plants are small enough to be acommodated by any grow medium or method the grower desires. The growth well in nutrient-rich, pH-balanced soil as well as in any kind of hydro setup.

Outdoor plants remain squat in stature and yield comparably to indoor plants. The flower time for most phenos is between 55 and 65 days both indoors and out.
