Afghan Skunk Auto is the autoflowering variant of Afghan Skunk by Advanced Seeds.

Introducing ruderalis DNA results in a plant with a short life cycle and the ability to flower regardless of whether it receives 12, 18, or even 24 hours of light per day.

The original Afghan Skunk combined the pure indica hit of the Afghani plant with Skunk’s more sativa-leaning effect.

This strain was made up of 70% indica and 30% sativa.

The addition of the ruderalis genes reduced the life-cycle time to 9 – 10 weeks and resulted in shorter plants whose energy went into bud and resin synthesis sooner than in photoperiod strains.

It is a hardy plant that is resistant to both plant pests and mould infections.

When grown inside, these plants can reach heights of 75-100 cm; when grown outdoors, they can reach heights of up to 120 cm.

Yields are good, with indoor producers able to harvest 400-500 gr/m2 under 600 watt lighting.

Resin production is very high, resulting in a scent similar to the sweet smell of hashish.

The flavour features berry and other fruit undertones, making this a wonderfully tasty strain.

Its THC level has been estimated at 15%, providing a relaxed, drowsy feeling while also elevating mood.

It has also been shown to reduce tension and anxiety, as well as boost the appetite.
