Pato #1 Strain
Since I started professional growing, I have always kept a Mango mother (a Skunk hybrid variety with the odor and flavor of tropical fruits), because it is, in my opinion, one of the best plants in commercial cloning. The amount of viable clones produced in all the ramifications is really significant, generating an important quantity of strong and hardy cuttings. The survival rate is always over 95%.

Kannabia Pato #1 Feminised Seeds Info
The selection of a commercial male, to improve this variety through “endogamic” crosses (IBL), has been one of the big achievements of our breeding team. The result: a Skunk-Mango with late flowering. In order to adapt the flowering period to indoor growing, we decided to cross it with our Afghan male from Mazar, which contributes with an extra in production. The result is a cross that surprises every grower who tests it. This plant produces big size flowers all along its stems.
Pato#1 is quite sensitive to high EC levels and root saturation during vegetative growing. However, high EC levels can be reached during the flowering period: up to 2.4 with coco peat substrate and up to 2.8 in hydroponic systems, with no fear of root blockage. Although root washing must be done weekly, I recommend the use of molasses (or carbohydrates) to raise brix sugar levels (responsible for flavor, odor and quality trichoma production).
Outdoors, Pato#1 grows above 3 meters in height within a few square meters, but it is easy to tutor and make SCROG. Due to its high level of Afghan gene- tics, this variety can be ready in the last week of Sept- ember. However, one extra week will be advisable for optimum ripening. Indoors, it will be prepared to be cut in 9 weeks (65 days).
You should consider that this variety produces big and compact flowers. Therefore, it is important to keep humidity in your growing room under 20% du- ring the flowering period, in order to prevent plants from fungi like chancre, botrytis or oidium.
The fresh smell is acid mango in combustion, a mix- ture of tropical fruits with a touch of musk. At the end of the flowering period, the color of the buds wills resemble mango skin.
