Ripper Mix Strain

Ripper Mix is another wonderful mix pack from Philosopher Seeds which contains two of their wonderful strains. This pack contains 2x SugarPop seeds and 2x Jack El Frutero seeds. Each pair of seeds is sealed in a plastic tube and surrounded by silica gel in order to avoid damage from moisture or light. These packs are perfect for novice growers or for those who are simply looking for a little variety without spending too much money.

SugarPop was a combined effort from Philosopher Seeds and their friends Reggae Seeds. It is a cross between White Russian, one of the most popular strains in existence, and Kalijah with a reversed Jack the Ripper female. These seeds are vigorous growers and have powerful germination. The strain is also compact and produces a high yield as well as a large amount of resin. This strain is perfect for beginners as it is resistant to high temperatures, diseases and pests. When dry is has a light odour with a little sweetness, hence the name SugarPop. The effect of the strain is a relaxing effect for the mind and the body making it ideal for those suffering from pain, stress or anxiety.

Jack El Frutero was also made in collaboration with Reggae Seeds. They used Respect #13, the winner of Spannabis 2012, and a Cannalope Haze elite clone. This strain is by far the most psychoactive strain in the Golo range and is recommended for having a nice quiet frolic in nature or for listening to music. Its flavour is a variety of fruity flavours which lingers on the tongue.

These strains are both feminised which means they will only grow into female plants. For a mix this is essentially as it ensures that the grower only receives productive plants. Feminised seeds are also known to be generally higher in quality and uniformity than regular seeds. Feminised seeds are often used by growers who do not plan on breeding their own crops. This is because usually a regular crop would be around half male and half female. Males usually need to be removed at the start of the flowering process which means around half of the seeds, and half of the money spent on them, are wasted.

These strains can be grown indoors or outdoors and have a flowering time of 60 – 70 days, if grown outside they should be harvested in October.
