SugarPop Strain

SugarPop is a wonderful strain born from the collaboration of Philosopher Seeds and Reggae Seeds. This is a combination of White Russian x Kalijah with a Jack The Ripper in order to create an amazing Indica strain. SugarPop really has the best of all of its parent plants with its high production, sugary scent, stimulating effect and heavy resinous buds. The effect of the strain is very relaxing and yet a little stimulating.

This means that it is great for socializing and being creative, it is also great for those suffering from stress, anxiety or depression. SugarPop is very resistant to disease, pests and heat which means that it is a great plant for those who are just starting out. It has sugary aromas, hence the name, which it inherited from the White Russian side of the family. This is combined with an earthy, incense scent which it inherited from Jack The Ripper. Its flavour lingers deliciously on the palate and is sure to impressive even the most discerning cannabis connoisseur.

SugarPop is a feminised strain which means that it will only grow into female plants. This is useful for a number of reasons and is very popular amongst growers. For those who do not plan on cultivating their own crops the males can be more of a hindrance than anything. Regular crops will grow into a roughly equal number of male and female plants. The males would usually need to be removed at the start of the flowering process which means around half of the seeds, and half of the money spent on them, are wasted. It also means that a grower can grow twice the number of productive females per crop.

Feminised seeds are usually of a higher quality and uniformity than regular seeds, in fact 80% of strains cultivated in this way have shown improvement in both areas. Breeders can also use feminised seeds if they are experienced enough. Female plants are capable of producing a feminised pollen which works in much the same way as the male pollen. That is to say it is used to fertilise another female, the resulting seeds will also be feminised.

This strain can be grown indoors or outdoors. Indoors it has a flowering time of 60 – 70 days and a yield of 400 – 500 g/m2. Outdoors it should be harvested in October and has a yield of 400 – 600 g/plant.
